Photo Essay: A Garden Haunting

It was just like any other botanic garden on a cloudy day.













But it wasn't really a botanic garden...











...it was an arboretum...







...with more trees and (some flowering) bushes than actual planted flowers.





But on that day, it wasn't just any ordinary arboretum:



The trees and the landscape had been taken over...







...by the undead.



Skulls peered out from behind cobwebbed branches...



...while skeletons rose from their graves...



...and rested against their tombstones.



They even went for a paddle.



What haunted this garden in Fullerton, on that afternoon?

Perhaps whatever always haunts it, unseen, hidden from view.
